This vintage mail slot was salvaged from an old house in Chicago.  It is made of polished solid brass and has a hinged covering etched with the word "LETTERS".   It measures approx. 8"  X 2.5" and is in excellent working condition with only light wear commensurate with age.  For easy installation it comes with 4 brass
screws each 3/4" long.
