Description

This is a really cool piece I found on Smith Island Virginia several years ago after a storm kicked it up from off the Atlantic's bottom. It measures 6" wide by 3 5/8" tall by probably 3/4" thick and has some monster surf tumbled wear / damage on it. COOL!
It is clear glass with a red 'laminate on the interior to give it the appearance of being completely red. Good luck ever finding something similar to this piece...
Now that I some time on my hands I can go through all the cool sea glass that I collected over the past 20 + years from the banks of the
Chesapeake Bay and several of the barrier islands off of Virginia's Eastern shore. Most of it came from were municipal dumps in Cape Charles, Virginia (from the 1900s) eroded away and became the basis for some really unique and wonderful pieces of sea glass. These main areas have been 'shut down' due to development and protecting the shoreline... they put breakwaters up and this prevents further erosion and thus more sea glass.
All of the neat pieces I have listed are authentic and unique with that fantastic frost look and lots of the surf tumbled "c"s, chips, cracks and dings that cannot be replicated by man.
Please view my other auctions / listings for some unique finds. Thanks for looking.
