You are bidding on a
long ago manufactured
, new old stock, HOLLEY brand, manual choke, 1 barrel carburetor. The code on the piece is 1237. I crossed it to Tomco rebuilt # 1-152. According to my old catalogs, this carburetor is applicable to 1953-1967 International Harvester truck vehicles equipped with 220, 240 and 264 cubic inch, 6 cylinder engines.
Please LOOK at the photos and compare this carburetor to the unit presently on the engine.
THIS MAY BE A WONDERFUL
RESTORATION PIECE FOR THAT EARLY 1950's into 1960's, 264 cubic inch, IHC pickup.
According to my research, there are still some of these IHC powered vehicles in service and this is a good looking N.O.S. carb at a bargain price. These are becoming hard to come by...You may want one as a spare just for the parts. This unit was in packaged warehouse storage for over 30 years.
Fortunately, those years in a "climate controlled warehouse" were kind to this piece...
