HUGE 21" Cast Brass Ornate Art Deco Entry Door Handles w/Attached Backplates

Fantastic and large 21" antique Art deco period entry door back plates with attached thumb latch handles.  Great ornate detail on these cast brass pieces.  Heavy - as though they were for a building entry way.
21" long, almost 4 lbs each.
CONDITION
:  One was painted red at some point, and still has some red residue.  Both thumb latch levers are very short....for some reason, or were cut.  Perhaps the mechanism triggered another piece inside the door.  I truly have no idea.
