Fiberglass Spoiler Air Dam Airdam MOLD for BMW 320i E21 1977-83 Ducted Styie

Description

Used fiberglass spoiler AIRDAM MOLD in which to make smooth, "Ducted Style" airdam for BMW E21 320i from 1977-1983.  Airdam extensions in front of wheel openings are squared off at the top to fit under the North American style rubber front bumper (see photo #8), but airdams can be modified for the "steel bumper" models.

Mold is heavy fiberglass with tooling gel coat surface.  Please LOOK CAREFULLY at photos to see condition.  This mold is used but very serviceable to produce good parts from.  Production of such parts requires detailed TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE and SKILL in fiberglass work.  Usual technique for this mold would be waxing sequence, spraying on catalyzed gel coat for part surface, and hand- laying appropriate multiple layers of fiberglass mat wet with catalyzed resin.  Mold is large and heavy- local pickup is easiest, but custom packing and shipping is possible but expensive.   PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE ACCESS TO SKILLS NECESSARY TO USE THIS MOLD BEFORE BIDDING!  A unique opportunity for someone wanting to have capability to produce this part for a classic early BMW!

SHIPPING DETAIL: We ship to United States addresses only, no FPO or APO. Shipping must be to the "confirmed" address of successful bidder only. Shipping is by FedEx Ground. Shipping price is estimated with the e-bay shipping calculator, and includes a small packing/handling charge and insurance. Note that we have to estimate shipping weights and package sizes BEFORE we pack the item. Thus both buyer and seller are AGREEING to a definate shipping cost which may be different than the incurred actual cost at the time the box is shipped. Transit time is out of our control, and yes it sometimes takes longer than it seems like it should. This shipping does seem to be the most economical, especially for our larger or heavier items.
