    Description

    MEGAN AND HARRY MAY BE MAKING THE NEWS, BUT THE DUKE (EDWARD VIII) AND DUCHESS OF WINDSOR (WALLIS SIMPSON) STARTED IT.  THIS IS AN ORIGINAL LETTER WRITTEN BY THE DUCHESS OF WINDSOR  ON HER FAMOUS BLUE WRITING PAPER,  DURING HER AND THE DUKE'S STAY IN NASSAU, BAHAMAS WHEN HE WAS GOVERNOR IN WORLD WAR II.  DATED JANUARY 8, 1943.  IT IS WRITTEN TO A FRIEND OF HERS IN THE STATES AND SIGNED "WALLIS WINDSOR".  IT HAS BEEN BEAUTIFULLY FRAMED IN CONSERVATORY FRAMING. MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 30" X 22".  NICE PIECE OF HISTORY.
