One Carter Thermoquad Carburetor phenolic plastic body TQ Bowl Large Bore
The main body or float bowl of the Carter Thermoquad Carburetor, (TQ), is made of black phenolic plastic. These bodys were available new from Carter.
There are 2 different TQ bodies (plus a few minor variations on those). The main differences on the bodies are the size of the primary throttle bore. The smaller bore uses 1 3/8 inch primary throttle plates. The larger bore uses 1 ½ inch throttle plates.
If you message me your Thermoquad Carburetor number, the model number is stamped on the lower left rear bolt flange, I can see if I have the proper Thermoquad set for your application.

We had a carburetor rebuild business for 59 years. In that time we built an inventory of thousands of parts from such manufacturers as Carter, Holley, Motorcraft, Rochester and others. The chaos that ensued when we closed our business had us box up all the parts and put them in storage. As I open boxes now I am finding parts I had forgotten about and will post many for sale. There is no order to many of these boxes so it would be hard for me to search for specific items at this time.
