    Description

    We found several boxes of early period hardware in a local estate a few months back.  We will be listing as I we go through it.
    These pieces have been in storage for decades and have not been cleaned or oiled.
    This auction is for a period set of 6 Oak and Acorn Sprig Figural Backplates. They do not come with bails.  There are no marks on the back - All are from the late 18th century.  They measure 3 1/4" across x 2 1/2".  The measurement is just under 2 3/4" from center to center. The 2 bottom plates have splits, all have patina.
