Hand wrought iron handle.Takes 2 bulbs: 1 inside the glass (included) and 1 in the socket. Tested and works. All parts are original except the wood base and oil to electric change.     Authentic Best & Lloyd 23”H Maritime Copper Plated Oil Lantern  Created in 1944 and Converted to Electric
    .
    Set upon a 1 3/4” thick wood base.
    Hand wrought iron handle. 2 bulbs: 1 inside the glass (included) and 1 in the socket.The versatile lantern can be hung from the ceiling, wall-mounted, or set on a table or shelf.
    On the lantern’s brass plate is written (see photo #8):
