The rain sensor pad must be present for rain sensor to function.
Pads have a one time use and are not able in most cases to be reused to function properly.

Your windshield must have a Premounted bracket mounted on the windshield for rain sensor to attach to.
If the Bracket and Sensor has come off the windshield then the bracket must 1st be reattach before lens and sensor can be installed.
We recommend taking to a local auto glass company to have bracket re-attached or contact us for assistance
