Here is a beautiful pair of antique entry door backplates, with handles and thumb latches. Each backplate is almost 16 inches long by 3.5 inches wide. From the most protruding point of the handle to the back of the backplate is about 2.75 inches. Together, they weigh 6 pounds on my postal scale, and are either cast bronze or cast brass. Look at the photos and decide. There are a few dings and dark spots on the plates, which is to be expected as they are over 100 years old. Handles, backplates and thumb latches are all non-magnetic. They were professionally polished and then top coated with a really tough 2-part automotive clear coat. They attach to a door with 1/4" solid brass screws, which are included. I will ship these Priority Mail, but I won't charge more than actual shipping cost. If the shipping cost is less, I'll refund the excess. The last photo shows another antique doorplate that I installed on an entry door, using a Baldwin oval cylinder escutcheon to cover the original cylinder hole that I had to enlarge to make the doorplates fit the mortise lockset I used.
