When it  comes to a classic vehicle - nothing says vintage like running  the original air cleaner! If you've converted your 67-74 FJ40 or  FJ55 from it's original Aisin carb to a Weber DGV-series  progressive or DGS-series synchronous and don't want to run the  replacement air cleaner, then this adapter kit is what you need.  This adapter kit will let you run the original Toyota air  cleaner assembly on your Weber carb. Please note - Toyota made a change in their air cleaners in 1974 so if your stock air cleaner mounts to the carb with a center mounting pin - this kit won't work! Please check our auctions for adapter kit # 99010.302 for the adapter that will work with later air cleaners.

This kit will only fit your engine if you're now running a Weber  DGV (DGV, DGEV, or DGAV) or DGS (DGES) series carb to replace  the original Aisin carb. This is only if you originally had  accelerator cable linkage or have converted to a cable linkage  from the rod linkage.
Most likely this kit will fit the DGV and DGS-clones made by Empi and  other companies. If you aren't sure if these will fit your  carburetor,  we can help!
