Description

Offered is a professionally restored Autolite 2100 Carburetor, with the original service tag, for the 1966 Ford Mustang, Fairlane, Falcon and Mercury Comet equipped with a 289 cu engine and manual transmission. Completely rebuilt using quality American made parts. New gold zinc plated factory correct fillister screws. Carburetor hardware restored and plated gold zinc. A beautifully restored carburetor to top off your classic engine.
The carburetor was completely dissembled and all parts were ultrasonically cleaned. The main body was treated to a two stage media blasting process with the final stage being a fine glass bead to peen and seal the aluminum body.
All steel parts were refinished, acid washed and zinc plated to restore finish and prevent rust. The steel parts are then submerged in dichromate for additional rust protection and a light golden factory appearance.
