Description

Offered is a professionally restored Autolite 2100 Carburetor, with original service tag, for the 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint equipped with a 260 cu engine and automatic transmission. This carb was also listed as standard equipment on the Sunbeam Tiger. This restoration started with a very clean NOS carburetor. This is a very rare carb in amazing unused condition. Completely rebuilt using quality American made parts. New Gold Zinc plated factory correct fillister screws. Carburetor hardware restored and plated gold zinc. A beautifully restored piece to top off your classic engine.
The carburetor was completely dissembled and all parts were ultrasonically cleaned. The main body was treated to a two stage media blasting process with the final stage being a fine glass bead to peen and seal the aluminum body.
All steel parts were refinished, acid washed and zinc plated to restore finish and prevent rust. The steel parts are then submerged in dichromate for additional rust protection and a light golden factory appearance.
